On August 21, 2017 the moon will come in between the Earth and the sun creating a total solar eclipse for anyone in its path. And while this event will be visible from the ground, Southwest Airlines wants to give their customers a special view of the eclipse. Select Southwest flights will be flying through the path of the eclipse giving passengers a front row seat for the cosmic spectacle. They will provide special viewing glasses and be serving “Cosmic Cocktails”.
