As part of the 100-year anniversary of the National Hockey League, NHL Auctions is running a special charity auction event celebrating some of the league’s greatest players from the past century. 67 of the 100 players named to the 100 Greatest Players list, which was unveiled earlier this year, took part in a signing ceremony during NHL All-Star 2017 weekend in Los Angeles in February. Jerseys bearing their authentic signatures and namesakes are now available for bidding exclusively on NHL Auctions, powered by Commerce Dynamics auction marketplace solutions.
Participants include retired legends of the game, the likes of which include Mario Lemieux, Guy Lafleur Ray Bourque, and Mike Bossy, as well as stars of today such as Sydney Crosby, Alexander Ovechkin, and Jonathan Toews. Net proceeds from the auction will go to the NHL Foundation, which supports league-sponsored charitable endeavors such as Hockey Fights Cancer.
