The Toronto Maple Leafs took on the Minnesota Wild in Sweden! The event honouring Leafs legend Borje Salming coincided with the homecoming of Toronto Maple Leafs Swedish star William Nylander.

Despite a tense 3-1 lead slipping away in regulation, Nylander emerged as the overtime hero, securing a 4-3 victory in overtime. The Leafs – Real Sports Auction – achieved a remarkable feat, blending the thrill of hockey with the spirit of giving on their Marketplace by putting all the international game-worn jerseys up for auction. Nylander’s game-worn homecoming jersey sold for $3,600 with all proceeds going to ALS.

Real Sports Auction, renowned for its commitment to charitable causes, demonstrated the perfect blend of hockey excitement and a shared mission to fight ALS. The synergy between the charity event and international games all part of the NHL Global Series™ not only heightened fan excitement but also showcased the international appetite for hockey. As we celebrate on-ice triumphs, let’s also applaud the team at the Real Sports Marketplace for their off-ice charitable triumph!
